Noise Fences (also known as Noise Barriers, Acoustic Barriers, Noise Walls or Sound Barrier
Walls) have been made of a number of different materials over the years. Noise barriers are
solid obstructions built between noise sources, be it highway noise or air conditioning equipment,
that are designed to be “line of sight” interruptions between the noise source and the receiver.
Sound Barrier is mainly used as a noise reduction of road, highway, viaduct and other noise
sources. It is a kind of barrier set at the side of road or railway in order to reduce the impact
of vehicles' noise on residents nearby.
The height of sound barrier is between 1m-5m,covering the period of validity mean
noise reduction reach 10-15dB(A)(125Hz-40000Hz,1/3 times frequency
