Hot Dipped Galvanized Stainless Expanded Metal Mesh For Durability And Corrosion Resistance
Expanded metal mesh is usually made using materials such as stainless steel or aluminium, which have good corrosion resistance and durability.
Stainless steel is an alloy that contains at least 10.5 per cent chromium. The presence of chromium makes stainless steel corrosion resistant and able to withstand oxidising, acidic and alkaline environments. As a result, expanded metal mesh sections made with stainless steel hold up well in many corrosive environments and have a long service life.
Expanded Metals are made from sheets of solid metals that are slit and stretched with each stroke of the upper die thus forming a raised diamond pattern.
This pattern is called regular or standard.The pattern varies by the gauge and type of material, and the size of the diamond.The sheets of Expanded Metal can also be flattened.
